What is the Difference between a Free and Pro Account?

SportsRecruits is an online recruiting platform for student-athletes looking to play at the collegiate level. SportsRecruits gives you the ability to keep all of your athletic and academic information in one place in order to stay on top of the recruiting process. In addition to the free features offered on the platform, you have the option to upgrade your account in order to unlock additional recruiting resources. This article will explain the difference between a free and Pro account. 

What Comes with a Free Account?

All student-athletes are able to create a Free SportsRecruits account. With a Free account, a student-athlete will have access to the following features of the platform:

• Student-Athlete Profile - here you can put all of your academic and athletic information, as well as videos for college coaches to easily view. 
• Video Library and Tools (like our Highlight Reel Editor) - you are able to add as many videos as you want, as well as create highlight reels to be published right to your profile.
• School Research Tools - here you are able to search for schools based on criteria that are important to you. 

What Comes with a Pro Account?

Student-athletes also have the ability to upgrade to a Pro account, which grants access to additional features that include:

• Messaging System - Easily message any college coach across the county, giving coaches a chance to respond with a click of a button.
• Tracking System - See and track which colleges are viewing your profile, video, and/or transcript, all in real time.
• Roster Needs School Search Filter - Filter your search results to schools with open roster spots matching your profile. Available in select sports. Learn more here.

Why Should I Upgrade my Account?

 By upgrading your account you are able to connect with every college coach in the country using our messaging system. You will also be able to see which college coaches are viewing your profile and video all in real-time. This provides families with full transparency as to which college coaches are interested. 

How do I Upgrade my Account?

When you're ready to upgrade to a Pro account, follow these quick steps!  

1. Go to sportsrecruits.com/login and log in to your account
2. Click the "Upgrade Your Account" or "Reactive Expired Account" button in the top left corner of your account
3. Clicking that button will bring you to our pricing page. Here is where you can review the Pro account features
4. From here, click on "Upgrade to Pro," then "Proceed To Checkout" and enter your billing information to begin!
