How to Change the Email Address or Phone Number on Your Account

You can update the student-athlete's and guardians' contact information in the My Family section of your profile.

How Do I Change the Student-Athlete's Email or Phone Number?

1. Click the Profile tab.
2. Click Edit.
3. From the drop-down, choose My Family.
4. Edit the student-athlete's name, email address, or phone number.

How Do I Change a Guardian's Email?

You can't edit a guardian's email directly. Instead, remove the old email and add the new one:

1. Click the Profile tab, click Edit, and choose My Family.
2. Remove the guardian's current email.
3. Click Add a Guardian and Grant Access and enter the new email.
4. The new email gets a message asking them to create a password.

You can edit a guardian's name and phone number directly in My Family.

How Do I Swap the Student-Athlete and Guardian Emails?

1. In My Family, click Swap Email with Guardian.
2. Select the email you want to swap.
3. Click Confirm Email Swap.

NOTE: After a swap, double-check the guardian's email and phone number, since they may need updating.

How Do I Reset a Password from My Family?

Click Reset Password next to any email on the account. That person gets an email asking them to create a new password.

What If It Says "This email address is already being used by a different athlete account"?

That email is already on another account, which usually means there's a duplicate account. Email help@sportsrecruits.com with the student-athlete's full name, email address, and sport, and we'll sort it out. Learn more in Why Do I Have Duplicate Accounts, and How Do I Merge Them?
