SportsRecruits features our Advanced School Search tool that helps in the college search by providing a list of schools that fit the athletic and academic criteria of any student-athlete in your organization.

Searching For Schools:

1. On your activity feed page, navigate to the toolbar on the top of the page and click “Schools”.

2. Here, you can either search for a school by name or use the advanced search to find schools based on different criteria: region, size, academic selectivity, majors, divisions and conferences.

3. What is really cool is we build your search based off of your club team’s zip code.

• This allows you to locate schools based on proximity to home.

4. You can also search by average standardized test scores like the SAT and ACT.

5. Add schools to your “Favorites List” by clicking on the red heart icon.

• This list is only for you to see.

• Keep track of programs you want to recommend for your student-athletes in the future by using this tool.

6. Remove/Unfavorite A School

• Any school on your favorites list will have a red heart next to it.

• To remove a school from your favorites list, simply click the red heart

• It will then turn gray.

• Refresh your page, and that school will no longer be on your favorites list.

Recommend a School to a Student-Athlete By Tagging

1. Once you run a school search, click on the school’s name.

2. On the school’s landing page, click on the “Tag Athletes” tab on the left.

3. You can search for the student-athlete(s) by name or choose from the list.

4. Select the student-athlete(s) to tag.

5. Click "Done".

6. Then, the tagged student-athlete(s) will show up in your activity feed when the student-athlete signs in.

7. We recommend sending a message to the student-athlete to let them know why you tagged them in a particular school and that they should contact the program’s coaches

Tagging is a great way for you to let your student-athletes know that you are by their side in the recruiting process! By tagging a school, you are letting them know that you think this school is a great fit for them. Click here to learn more about this feature!
