A view notification is triggered when a college coach reviews information on your profile while logged in to their SportsRecruits account. Remember, whenever you send a message through the SportsRecruits Messaging system, a link to your profile is embedded in every message. When a coach clicks on this link, they are automatically logged in to their SportsRecruits account and taken directly to your profile, triggering a view notification.

Profile View 

When a college coach is logged in to their SportsRecruits account and visits your student-athlete profile, you will receive a Profile View Notification in real time. Make sure you have the most up-to-date information to ensure college coaches can evaluate you and follow your progress. To understand what college coaches will see when they view your profile, click the “Preview” button on the left-hand toolbar on your SportsRecruits profile.

Video View 

If a college coach watches any video visible on your profile, you will receive a Video View Notification. With your SportsRecruits account, you can upload, embed or connect an integrated video service to add an unlimited amount of videos. Be sure to set your videos to visible on your profile. Student-athletes who have video on their profile are 19x more likely to receive a view than those who don’t. Learn more about the type of video coaches want to see here.

Pinned Playlist View

Publishing your pinned playlist makes it live on your SportsRecruits profile for college coaches to see. After a college coach views your pinned playlist, you will receive a notification detailing which clips the coach watched. This level of transparency shows you which clips and skill types coaches have evaluated. It’s important to keep your pinned playlist up to date with your best clips!

Document View 

When a college coach views your academic transcripts or press links, you will receive a view notification. Be sure to have your most up-to-date transcript or report card. Academics are just as important as your athletic ability when going through the recruiting process. Your “Press Link” section is also a good place to upload any publications that may have been written about you, either academically or athletically. EventBeacon On-Demand View 

EventBeacon On-Demand is an event video library for college coaches powered by the SportsRecruits platform. When a college coach views a video from this library that you played in, you will receive an EventBeacon On-Demand View notification. This notification is delivered to each player listed on that game's roster. Just as EventBeacon On-Demand gives college coaches a virtual sideline experience, we want to provide student-athletes who played in the game transparency into who was on that sideline.
