With your SportsRecruits profile, there is a section where you can add your schedule of all of your recruiting events for college coaches to easily access at any time! You are able to add a variety of events from recruiting camps, prospect days, tournaments, showcases, etc. It is important to update this periodically for college coaches to stay updated on where you will be competing in the near future.
Steps to Add An Event to Your Student-Athlete Profile

Click “Profile” on the toolbar.

Click on "Edit".

Choose the "Athletic" section.

Scroll down to "My Events".

Click on "Add New Event".

Enter the event information.

If the event has a website, add the URL.

Click "Save to Profile".

Click "Preview" to see the event on your profile!
Why is there an EventBeacon badge next to an event on my profile?
If there is a blue EventBeacon badge next to an event on your profile that is because you were added to the rosters for an event that is powered by EventBeacon. EventBeacon is a Rosters + Schedule app for college coaches (coaches books) used on site at recruiting events to seamlessly access the player information of any athletes and teams competing.

Why is the EventBeacon badge missing from my event?
The EventBeacon badge will not appear for any events that you add to your profile on your own. The badge will only appear once you have been added to the event rosters in EventBeacon.
Depending on the event, athletes may be added to EventBeacon by their team coach, the event operator, or a SportsRecruits staff member. There is often a significant delay between when your family registers, signs up, or submits a waiver for an event and when you are added to the rosters in EventBeacon.
How do I remove events from my profile?
If you need to remove an event from your profile, head back to the "Athletic" section, scroll down to "My Events" and click "edit" next to the event. Choose "delete" from the dropdown.
Why isn't there an option to delete my event?
If the delete option does not appear next to an event and you do not have the ability to remove the event, it is because your club's staff has added the event to your profile or an Event Operator has added you to the rosters for the event.
Although you cannot delete the event, you do have the option to hide it from your profile using the visibility toggle. Navigate to the "Athletic" section of your profile, scroll down to "My Events" and click "edit" next to the event. Toggle "Visible on Profile" to gray in order to hide the event from your profile.
Why do I need to add events to my profile?
Attending events is an important part of your college recruiting process. Many college coaches want to evaluate student-athletes live to determine if they would be a good fit for their team. Therefore, it is important to not only update your event schedule on your SportsRecruits profile, but it is also important to proactively reach out to college coaches throughout your event season.
It is important to know that college coaches attend these athletic recruiting events with a pre-determined list of student-athletes to look out for. At SportsRecruits we have found that college coaches make this list 7-10 days before an event.
