The SportsRecruits messaging system allows you to CC your coaches on your messages to college coaches. CCing is the best way to keep your coach in the loop with your communication with college coaches!

CC'ing Coaches-Club or High School User

If you are a club or high school user, you can CC any member of your organization’s staff on the messages you send through your profile. Follow these steps to CC your organization's coach:

1. Click the “Messages” tab on your dashboard page.

2. Hit “Compose Message” in the right hand corner.

3. In the space next to “To,” type the school’s name.

4. Next to "CC," type your organization's coach's name (not email address) and select them as a recipient.

5. Now, your organization's coach will receive the email that you sent to the program and the response from the college coach.

CC'ing Coaches-Individual User

If you are an individual user, you can CC anyone on your messages that you send through your profile. Follow these steps to CC one of your advocates:

1. Click the “Messages” tab on your dashboard page.

2. Hit “Compose Message” in the right hand corner.

3. In the space next to “To,” type the school’s name & select the coaches you wish to contact.

4. Next to "CC," type your advocate's email address. A dropdown menu will appear with the title "Non Integrated Email." Select the option in the dropdown that reads "Add, followed by the email address."

5. Now, your advocate will receive the email that you sent to the program and the response from the college coach.

Note: If you are an integrated club or high school member and a staff member you want to email is not available, this means they have not been added as a staff member to your club's SportsRecruits account. We recommend reaching out to your club staff to let them know about this so that they can get the coach added right away!
