The pinned playlist feature allows student-athletes to showcase their best moments for college coaches to easily view. Below, we discuss the feature’s role in the recruiting process.
What is a Pinned Playlist?
A pinned playlist is a brief introduction to your abilities as a player. It's a place to showcase your best plays to capture a college coach's attention quickly.
The pinned playlist section of your profile was designed with college coaches specifically for their recruiting needs.
A pinned playlist has the following:
- Your top plays pinned at the top of your profile.
- Dynamic filtering for the skills college coaches requested for evaluation.
- Interactive playback controls to find, watch, and rewatch the most important clips.
Why Did we Build Pinned Playlists?
We built the pinned playlist feature in response to college coach feedback and requests. Through ongoing conversations with coaches, it became obvious they needed:
- To quickly see an athlete’s top plays, right away.
- To review these plays grouped by skill type.
College coaches review thousands of athletes! The pinned playlist helps quickly grab coaches’ attention so they review more of the profile – ensuring you get the most out of every profile view.
The pinned playlist helps streamline the recruiting process for college coaches and ensures athletes can get the most out of every profile view. It also provides a quick overview of an athlete's playing ability and captures the coach's attention so that they review more of the profile.
Why is There a “Beta” Label on the Feature?
The pinned playlist is a brand-new feature, and we will make ongoing updates to continue improving the experience.
Your opinion matters to us and will help improve the pinned playlist feature for the entire SportsRecruits community.
