Moving to Birmingham, AL

What would be ones advice to getting their daughter whom is a sophomore goalkeeper introduced to the various high schools in Birmingham?  Are there camps, or columbines to go to that would help?  Any way of putting her on a "substitute" list?  Any advice would be appreciated.
